Media spokesperson training

A media interview - whether about a crisis, emerging issue or even a positive story - is an opportunity to protect and enhance reputation. The communication skills learned in RL's media training sessions are invaluable even for managers and executives unlikely ever to have to face the media.

Being able to give authoritative and convincing interviews to print and broadcast media is an essential element of communicating with stakeholders. The consequences of getting it wrong can be severe and can ultimately impact the bottom line.

Our spokesperson training courses help senior management build the skills, knowledge and confidence to handle even the toughest journalists in the toughest of circumstances. But this is not just a course for Board members.

A key focus of this session is the opportunity to practice the techniques learnt through a series of interviews based on a realistic scenario tailored specifically to your business.

The training is facilitated by a senior RL staff member, with interviews conducted by one of Regester Larkin's media associates, all of whom have extensive experience of working on high-profile news programmes.

"We have found Regester Larkin's media training invaluable for a wide range of our employees. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive and the skills they developed have been used in variety of situations. The training has been professional, but tailored to our needs and accessible irrespective of experience."
