Regester Larkin recruits public affairs expert

Regester Larkin has announced that Andrew Fairburn has joined the consultancy as a Board director.

Andrew joins from a senior role in public affairs and brings with him over 13 years’ of issues management, government relations and political analysis experience.

Andrew Griffin, Regester Larkin managing director, said: “Andrew is an excellent addition to the team; his experience of handling challenging political and reputational issues facing a wide variety of private and public sector organisations, will support us in offering a wider proposition to our clients.”

Andrew Fairburn said: “Regester Larkin has an outstanding reputation in crisis and issues management. I’m looking forward to working with the team and using my skills and experience to advise the company’s highly impressive list of clients.”

Andrew’s appointment is the latest in a series of changes at Regester Larkin designed to ensure the business offers a holistic reputation management service to its clients.

Griffin comments: “Crisis management remains core to Regester Larkin. However, many clients are asking for our support on a much broader range of issues. This involves providing reputation management advice on projects as diverse as organisational restructuring and planning applications to responding to the threat of new legislation or changing social expectations on public issue such as obesity, binge drinking and climate change.

Andrew’s appointment will bolster our ability to provide the political and public affairs advice required in managing these broader types of issues.”

Regester Larkin also recently appointed Rob Sherwin as director and Regester Larkin Middle East managing director, and promoted Claire Snowdon to the board.
