RL hosts first international network conference

On 7 - 8 December 2006, Regester Larkin hosted its first international network conference. Held in the UK, the event brought together senior representatives and the principals from the company’s affiliate consultancies in Brussels, Germany, Poland, Italy, Switzerland, New Zealand, Australia and its recently-launched, wholly-owned office in Dubai.

Delegates discussed the key reputational risks currently facing organisations in their markets, as well as the emerging issues and trends across a range of industry sectors.

The network is believed to be the first international network dedicated to crisis and issues management.

Regester Larkin opens Dubai office

Regester Larkin has officially launched its new office in Dubai. The wholly owned office is run by managing consultant, Caitlin West, who has worked at Regester Larkin for over five years.

Regester Larkin Dubai will provide clients with a new expert presence in this key region. Those already benefiting from the new office include Shell, Standard Chartered Bank and Royal & Sun Alliance.

Managing director, Andrew Griffin, said: “This is a major new step in the international expansion of Regester Larkin. We have some fantastic clients with a presence in Dubai and now we have a local office providing them with the same specialist reputation advice they are used to in the UK.”

Tim Johnson wins PR Week Young PR Professional of the Year Award

Tim Johnson, a director at Regester Larkin, has won the PR Week Young PR Professional of the Year award. This hotly-contested and highly prestigious industry award recognises outstanding achievement in PR for those under the age of 30. Tim, who has already been a Board member for 2 years, provides excellent high-level advice to clients across all sectors and has helped manage some high profile crises in the past 12 months.

Neil Hedges, group chairman of Fishburn Hedges and one of the panel judges said: ‘Tim’s ability to lead major crisis response teams demonstrates real confidence and expertise in a sector where grey hair is too often perceived a requirement’.
